Launch Campaign
An agent launch is the process of funding and deploying new agents in the AIgents ecosystem. It allows contributors to support an agent by sending cryptocurrency to a launch wallet and, in return, receive a proportional share of the agent’s tokens. This ensures a decentralized and fair way to fund agents, involving the community directly.
FAQs
What is a launch campaign?
A launch campaign is the period during which new agents can raise funding to support their development and deployment. It’s an essential step in bringing an agent to life within the AIgents ecosystem.
Can I send ETH from my Coinbase/CEX account?
No, do not do this. Sending ETH from a centralized exchange (CEX) like Coinbase will lead to the loss of funds, including both ETH and tokens. Always use a personal wallet that you control.
How long do campaigns take?
All new agent launch campaigns currently run for a fixed duration of 24 hours.
What happens after 24 hours?
If the target is met (or exceeded):
The funding is considered successful.
Participants receive agent tokens airdropped directly to their wallets. The number of tokens is proportional to their contribution relative to the total funding amount.
If the target is not met:
The campaign is canceled.
All wallets are refunded their ETH (minus a small fee).
What are the funding targets?
Currently, the funding targets is 1 ETH on the ETH blockchain
Can I buy/sell the agent tokens after the agent launch completes?
Yes, if the launch reaches its target, the agent will be deployed as a tradable token, which can be bought and sold on platforms like Uniswap.
What are the funding currencies?
Currently, funding is done using ETH. However, in the future, we plan to transition to using AIgents as the exclusive funding currency, further expanding its utility within the ecosystem.
Can I send ETH multiple times?
Yes, all of your contributions will be combined. You will receive tokens in proportion to the total contributions, no matter how many times you send ETH.
Can I use multiple wallets?
Yes, you can use multiple wallets. Blockchains are permissionless by nature.
Is there a funding cap?
No, there is no cap on funding. However, there is a funding target that must be met for the agent to be deployed. If the target is not met, the launch is canceled, and all contributions are refunded (minus a small fee).
If the target is exceeded, the extra funds will be accepted, and agent tokens will be distributed based on each participant’s contribution relative to the total amount raised. For example, if the target is 1 ETH and the campaign raises 5 ETH, tokens will be distributed in proportion to each contributor’s share of the total.
Can I send ETH directly to the launch wallet, or do I need to use the frontend?
You can send ETH directly from your wallet or use our frontend. While the frontend provides a confirmation notification, it's not required. Simply find the launch wallet address in the campaign details, copy it, and send ETH directly.
Do I get a confirmation that I am participating?
If you use the frontend, you will receive a confirmation notification. If you send ETH directly, your successful transaction acts as confirmation of your participation.
Why should I participate in the launch, vs buying on Uniswap directly?
Participating in the launch gives you early access to tokens, potentially at a better value than buying directly on Uniswap.
What can I use the tokens for?
The use cases for tokens are determined by the agent deployers. Common uses include charging for agent services and outputs.
Can I send ETH from a contract?
Your contract must be able to handle return transfers of ETH (in case of a refund) and ERC20 tokens (in case of agent deployment). While this is possible, we recommend avoiding it due to the added complexity.
Can I use another network to send ETH to the launch wallet?
No, currently only ETH on the Ethereum blockchain is accepted for the launch.
Can I send any other currency to the launch wallet?
No, only ETH is accepted at this time. In the future, we plan to transition to funding via AIgents tokens.
Does everyone buy at the same price, or is it on a bonding curve?
During the launch, all contributors buy at the same price, based on the total contributions. The final token price is calculated at the end of the campaign. After the agent is deployed, the price will be determined by the Uniswap AMM formula, adjusting according to supply and demand.
Is there a fee for the campaign?
Yes, a small fee of approximately 1% of the raised amount is applied. If the funding target is exceeded, the fee becomes proportionally smaller.
Is it a fair launch?
Yes, the launch campaigns are designed to be fair:
No front-running: All participants have an equal opportunity to contribute.
No whitelists: Everyone is welcome to participate.
Fixed-time crowdsale: The campaign lasts 24 hours, and contributions can be made at any time within that window.
What is the minimum/maximum amount?
There is no minimum or maximum contribution amount. You can contribute as much or as little as you'd like.
How much of the token supply will be airdropped?
50% of the tokens will be airdropped to launch participants, proportional to their contributions. The other 50% will be added to the liquidity pool (liquidity will be burned).
Should I wait until the end of the launch?
We don’t recommend waiting until the end of the launch. The timing of your ETH contribution does not affect your proportional share of tokens, but if your transaction arrives after the campaign ends, you won’t receive a refund or tokens. It’s best to contribute earlier to avoid this risk.
Examples
1. Unsuccessful Launch
Launch Target: 1 ETH Funds Raised: 0.75 ETH Outcome:
The campaign did not reach its 1 ETH funding target within the 24-hour period.
As a result, the launch was canceled, and all contributors received a refund of their ETH (minus a small fee).
No tokens were distributed, and the agent was not deployed.
2. Target Launch
Launch Target: 1 ETH Funds Raised: 1 ETH Outcome:
The campaign successfully reached its 1 ETH funding target within the 24-hour window.
Contributors received their proportional share of tokens based on their contributions. For instance, if a participant contributed 0.1 ETH, they received 10% of the total distributed tokens. A total of 50% of the agent token supply was distributed.
The remaining 50% of tokens were allocated to a liquidity pool.
The agent was successfully deployed and became available for trading on platforms such as Uniswap.
3. Successful Launch
Launch Target: 1 ETH Funds Raised: 5 ETH Outcome:
The campaign significantly exceeded its 1 ETH funding target, raising 5 ETH within the 24-hour period.
Contributors received tokens proportional to their contributions. For instance, someone who contributed 1 ETH received 20% of the total distributed tokens (since 1/5 = 20%).
The remaining 50% of tokens were added to a liquidity pool.
The agent was successfully deployed and became available for trading on platforms like Uniswap.
Launch/Agent Tokenomics
Launch Tokenomics
During the launch of a new agent, the funds are allocated as follows:
10% of the funds are sent to the agent’s wallet to support its initial operations, which include:
Paying for credits
Facilitating transfers
Utilizing AI models
10% is allocated for AIgents token buybacks and burns, reducing the token supply.
80% of the funds are added as liquidity to the Uniswap pool, with the liquidity provider (LP) tokens being burned.
Agent Tokenomics
Once an agent is operational, a 1.5% buy/sell tax applies to all transactions of its tokens. This tax is distributed as follows:
25% for agent funding to support its continued operations.
25% for AIgents buybacks and burns, reducing supply and enhancing token value.
50% for adding to liquidity pools, supporting token stability.
0% to the agent deployer as a reward for creating and deploying the agent.
Customizable Tokenomics
The above allocations apply to the initial agents. For future agents, these values can be adjusted by the deployers during the launch process, offering flexibility to accommodate specific project needs while ensuring transparency.
